Public form safety and acceptable use.
These terms apply to Usable Forms, a form-building and response collection service that stores form definitions and responses in Usable workspaces. They supplement the general Usable Terms of Service. By creating, publishing, submitting, or reporting a form, you must use the service lawfully and respect the safety rules below.
Form Owner Responsibilities
- Ask only for information you have a legitimate reason and legal basis to collect.
- Provide accurate privacy details, including the controller, purpose, retention period, and contact information where applicable.
- Manage workspace access so only appropriate people or agents can view responses.
- Honor applicable privacy, security, retention, consent, accessibility, and sector-specific obligations.
- Review reports and remove or correct forms that are misleading, unsafe, unlawful, or no longer needed.
Respondent Responsibilities
Respondents should review the form title, owner-provided privacy details, and safety notice before submitting. Do not submit information the form does not ask for, and do not submit secrets or credentials. Use the report link if a form appears suspicious, deceptive, or unsafe.
Acceptable Use
Do not use Usable Forms for:
- Phishing, impersonation, credential harvesting, or fraud.
- Collecting passwords, one-time codes, recovery codes, API keys, private keys, or payment card numbers.
- Unlawful sensitive-data collection, child-directed collection without required safeguards, spam, harassment, malware delivery, or deceptive activity.
- Attempting to bypass access controls, rate limits, security checks, or workspace permissions.
Restricted Data
Sensitive personal data, children's data, health data, government identifiers, financial data, and similar high-risk information require appropriate legal review, clear respondent notices, and suitable safeguards before collection. Usable Forms may block publication or request changes where a form appears to create avoidable safety, privacy, or abuse risk.
Reports And Enforcement
Public respondents can report suspicious forms from the form footer. Reports are stored with the form workspace audit records so they can be reviewed and acted on. We may suspend, remove, or restrict forms, responses, or accounts that violate these terms, the general Usable Terms, law, or platform safety expectations.
Privacy And Data Protection
Responses are processed as described in the Usable Forms Privacy notice. If you have a platform privacy request, email privacy@usable.dev. Form-specific privacy questions should go first to the form owner if their details are shown.
Third Parties And Integrations
Usable Forms may rely on Usable authentication, workspace storage, email delivery, infrastructure, observability, billing, and other service providers. A form may also link to third-party websites or services. Those third parties are responsible for their own terms and privacy practices.
Service Availability And Changes
We work to keep Usable Forms reliable, but the service may change, pause, or be unavailable during maintenance, incidents, abuse prevention, or product updates. Some features may be beta or experimental and can change without notice.
Intellectual Property And Feedback
Form owners retain responsibility for the content they create or upload. Usable Forms, including its product design, branding, and software, is owned by Usable or its licensors. Feedback may be used to improve the service without compensation or attribution.
Disclaimers And Liability
Usable Forms is provided as part of the Usable service and is subject to the disclaimers, limits of liability, indemnity, and general provisions in the general Usable Terms of Service. Form owners remain responsible for their forms, response handling, and legal compliance.
Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws applicable in the Faroe Islands, subject to any mandatory consumer protection rights that apply where you live. Unless mandatory law gives you the right to bring a claim elsewhere, disputes will be resolved by the competent courts in the Faroe Islands.

By using Usable Forms as a form owner or respondent, you acknowledge that you have read and understood these Forms terms, the general Usable Terms, and the applicable privacy notices.
